The Big Cheese is an extreme long-distance traveler that illustrates one of the most basic design secret for achieving record-setting travel distances, gearing. For every wrap of string that is pulled from the drive axle, The Big Cheese will travel one full meter of liner distance. The Big Cheese is built on our top selling Basic Kit II chassis but with the added 11-inch drive wheel. Performance Upgrades

The reduced friction bushings included in this kit decrease the total amount of friction and increase the efficiency of the vehicle by as much as 25-30% over other conventional bushing systems. Adjustable Steering guarantees that The Big Cheese will travel straight down any hallway. But the single best upgrade is the 11-inch big wheel that travels one meter for ever wrap of string pulled from the drive axle. The total pulling distance for the Big Cheese is about 45 meters before the vehicle begins coasting; that is over 200 times more pulling distance compared to other mousetrap vehicles.

The Big Cheese can be assembled in less than 60 minutes for most first time builders and when finished it will travel from 50-70 meters. The Big Cheese comes with a 12-inch lever arm and an 11-inch drive wheel making The Big Cheese a winning long-distance vehicle.

As with all our top mousetrap racer kits, The Big Cheese includes our "easy-to-wind" and "snag-free " string release system that will not tangle or snag for increased performance, a technique developed exclusively by Doc Fizzix.
