How to Use

Super glue is made of repeating monomers of Cyanoacrylate. Cyanoacrylate is made of carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, and nitrogen. Before super-glue is polymerised, it has double bonds that can be stolen if exposed to anions, this initiates the chain reaction that bonds super glue. Super glue uses the moisture in the air to cure and is highly reactive with water. This is why it sticks your fingers instantly to whatever you are gluing but not the two plastic parts you are trying to glue...it reacts with the moisture in your skin. To effectively use super-glue, use just enough to create a thin film on one surface being glued. Most people use way too much and it results in a slow set time and poor bond. You should then leave the newly glued object supported and still for another 10 minutes to allow the bonding to finish before applying any pressure to it.

When gluing wood, always line up the two pieces of wood as you want them glued and then a small amount of JET super glue along the joint. The glue will pull into the wood and form a super strong bond.
