Complete lever arm set-up
The performance of a mousetrap vehicle is directly related to the length of the mousetrap's pulling arm. This set gives you two 12 inch lever arms and two 6 inch lever arm designed to fit right on your mousetrap's cut snapper arm. The lever arms can be cut to any length and even attached together with the extension coupler.



The right pulling string
The right string can make a huge difference in performance. We have seen people use all kinds of different strings from dental floss, fishing line, and yarn, but if you are serious about making a top-performing racer, you will want to use Kevlar re-enforced Spider Wire. The problem with most strings is that they are too thick and do not wind evenly around the drive axle, causing inconsistent performance and tend to "snag ". Spider Wire is an advanced fishing line that is made from Kevlar fibers for incredible strength and performance, Spider Wire will not stretch or break.
