STEMs in the classroom with mousetrap cars
Presenting ideas and techniques for using mousetrap powered cars to teach STEMs education in the classroom to elementary and secondary science teachers. Each participant built a mousetrap powered car and then performed a several experiments to explore variables that effecting the vehicles motion and speed. Lesson plans and handouts were provided to help teachers apply the concepts in the classroom.
The Art of Performing Demonstrations - 2005
Super Saturday workshop at the University of Texas by the UTeach department. Alden J. Balmer will be perform some of his most exciting and favorite demonstrations designed to motivate and capture student attention. The session will include some demonstrations that you can Make-and-Take, handouts will be provided.
